Hello again from the world of creative KZ! We have 2 maps today to release for you. One for bhop lovers of all skill levels and a very challenging regular jump map.




First up is kz_bhop_it_somewhere by an00biz from the CSS XC guys. If I am not mistaken he is also one of their admins. This map has an easy, medium and hard course utilizing the ever-popular brush_kzmod entities, allowing a designer to add multiple courses along the same path and display it in different ways.







Next up is a really cool yet challenging jump map called kz_melody by both DaTrippinHobbit and Kangaroo. The concept is a lone island with a gigantic magical/musical sea chest with a piece of sheet music in it. Jump the notes (and other stuff) coming off the paper to reach the top of the chest!

Hello, this week marks the release of the new demo upload script created by DaFox! The primary features of the new script are: An upload progress bar, Better error messages, Automatically deny wrongly named rar files.

We recently updated the record rules and added the following:

Shooting timers with the pistol is not allowed.
Make sure your name in the demo EXACTLY matches your site username!
For 2+man demos your usernames need to be separated by a comma. (kz_caverns_deep_2manrooftops_submittersusername,secondusername_0000.00.rar for example)
Make sure your capitalization of the mapname is all lowercase. (This is already a rule, but it will be enforced automatically now!)

This was also the last release we accept demos made on the 1.1 patch, which means if you submit old 1.1 demos now they will be denied.

3. You cannot use a starting point that required sv_cheats 1, noclip, the Hook, the limited Bungee or any award to get to prior to starting your timer. At the same time you are not allowed to use sv_cheats 1 to alter the position of any physics objects in a map to later be used as a shortcut prior to starting your timer.

If you got to that point K@MS3R in a normal way it has to be shown in the demo to prove it.

Well, people seem to be very busy lately making maps! Keep it up guys, the more the merrier!




First item up is a map by Solid. kz_ninja rush has a unique Asian feeling to it.






Second and third maps were created by Sacred for CSS and are called kz_surf_calamity and kz_surf_calamity2. These 2 surf maps were converted to KZmod by Bart











The next map was created for CSS by Billy and is called kz_surf_discovery. This was also coverted to KZmod by Bart.






The next map is kz_surf_exile by Pyaniy Ezhik for CSS and was converted to KZmod by Aoki who also added a slightly easier course using those wonderful func_brush_kzmod's. The "easy" course is still extremely difficult.






The last map we have to offer you today is kz_surf_misc done by Freakout+Bravesurf for CSS. This was also converted to KZmod by Bart. Each room in this map has a completely different look and feel, hence, the name misc. This one is not as hardcore as the other surf maps we have rleased lately and there are also more easy surf maps on the way.
