
It has come to my attention that a few of you out there are not able to play the game properly at the moment.
If you got the following error while trying to connect to a live server or even your own LAN server then read the extended news (click READ THE REST) for the full solution:
"Error veryfying Steam USer ID Ticket"
Usually this error is solved by erasing the clientregistry.blob, but apparently this is no longer enough for some of us.

NOTE ON KZMOD DEVELOPMENT: Stop thinking we are dead! Raptor and I are simply busy with RL things (jobs and university) but we are still very dedicated to this project and 1.0 will see a release. Tag Arena has undergone further testing and basically only cosmetics are left. We hope we can release some video footage of that very soon. At the present rate of progress a Christmas release will be impossible but we wish you a pleasant holiday season anyway

Hello SF,
Please exit Steam and go to the folder called C:\Program Files\Steam\ (this is the default location for a Steam installation - if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it).
Delete all of the contents of this folder except:
The Steamapps folder and Steam.exe (If 'exe' is not visible, look for the black and white Steam icon)
Restart your computer.
Then, you will need to launch Steam.exe from within the Steam installation folder, and not from a pre-existing shortcut.
With Steam running, re-test the original issue.
Note: This process will not affect your currently installed games.
